#OTD in 1972, Japanese holdout Shoichi Yokoi was discovered near a cave on Guam where he had been hiding since 1944 when the island was recaptured by U.S. forces. A replica of the cave in which he lived for more than 27 years is a tourist attraction near Talofofo Falls.
