First attempt at the slip cast orb lamp. Unfortunately the bottom is a bit warped & there is a slight crack but it looks very cool! This porcelain (pearl) isn’t very translucent, & fires a bit yellow, compared to my throwing porcelain; frost. Learning slip casting with porcelain might not been wise?

This texture is sooo satisfying. 🤩 Normally with this pattern I kind of let it turn into chaos a few steps out from the center but I stayed a bit more intentional with it and I’m liking the results.

Hello world! Sharing my latest batch of mugs fresh out of the kiln. The outside texture is just the raw clay inlaid with oxides. Glaze in the lettering, handle and inside. I’m obsessed! The way the light bounced off the metallic effect of the oxides looks ✨ magical ✨
