My first gig of '26. Damon & Naomi at Café Oto, night 1, a positive antidote to the horrible news cycle at the moment. Laetitia Sadier's solo set was great; trombone! interpretative dance! After D&N's lovely set Laetitia and surprise guest Mark Webber from Pulp joined them for 3 Galaxie 500 tunes.

New thread for 2026. Unexpected first gig of the year, with all you would expect of Dalston on a Sunday night. Seeing Gilbert & George in our restaurant, then a gig at Cafe Oto, where Stewart Lee read from punchcards provided by Richard Youngs. Damon and Naomi were great too.
