In AEW, rivals are the same thing as romantic partners, so Hangman and Swerve teaming up was actually them trying to be “just friends”. To make Hangman jealous, Swerve slept with Kenny and put him through a table or whatever.

Maybe I just appreciate a good tragedy, but Swerve being an unstoppable evil champion that Hangman can’t challenge because of him going full Ned Stark is a romantically beautiful story that I would eat up for as long as they feed it to me. #AEW

No matter what happens at Revolution, all roads lead to the next Hangman vs Swerve. None of their previous singles matches were for the championship so the next one is either going to be a first time title match or potentially the most violent match in company history if Swerve screws Hangman. #AEW

I actually really like the Cody stipulation. In modern wrestling, where everything is so meta, it actually has stakes. Not storyline stakes, legitimate “this is the end of Hangman’s career, what are they doing?” stakes. It feels like an actual risk and has me invested in watching it play out. #AEW

Hangman stipulation- Texas Death w/ Cody stip. MJF stipulation- Regular match no Cody stip. Make the fans have to chose the Cody stip in order to fuel their need to see violence. Perfect reason for a future heel turn if Hangman loses. He can just blame the fans and go back on it. #AEW

If you just listened to Mox/Hangman/Bryan, you’d see AEW’s biggest plot point right now is not about winning the World Championship, it’s about defending it. 2026 is going to be about finding a Champion who can hold on to the title. Hangman showed us a preview of that, Joe showed us the opposite.

So the match with Cope was a hurt Mox and a 50 year old coming back from a broken leg. Guys in AEW have had great matches without us ever knowing they were banged up. This just happened to go the other way. Don’t blame them for giving it a shot since that match might not ever happen again.

I’d be very interested in an AEW story about the World Championship bouncing around a lot because the level of competition is so high. It clearly worked with the C2. You could crown some new champions while ultimately elevating whoever is the first person to have an extended reign.

I don’t think people really hate MJF, they hate they share a fandom with people that cheer him in moments when his character and the story being told are calling for them to boo. It’s why they don’t want to see him, because it exposes part of the fandom that isn’t as progressive as the product. #AEW

Not only is World’s End sold out, the scalpers are back. A lot of the rows added got immediately bought out and put back up for resale. Hope everyone that wanted a ticket grabbed one before they got price gauged. #AEW

Fletcher is so damn good, he’s gonna make Mox a bigger baby face than he’s ever been by the end of their match. I would not be surprised if Mox wins and Okada enters a new level of mega heel by beating Takeshita, putting down Mox and retiring Tanahashi in the same week. #AEW

If we get a will he/won’t he moment with Bryan deciding whether to save Mox or be the one to bag him in the same building it all started in, I might ascend into another plane of existence. #AEW
