Following the long awaited release of FlightGear 2024.1 last February, we are pleased to announce version 2024.1.2. This first point release brings bug fixes and new features to the stable version of our free open-source flight simulator.

FlightGear will always be free to use, but the project does incur costs for maintaining infrastructure such as download servers and domains. To safeguard the long-term availability, we now welcome entirely optional donations through Open Collective.
