This is just fucking insane & cruel. I was working at the VA (VBA to be specific) when the PACT Act was passed into law. That brought nearly 1 million veterans in to the VA system for their earned benefits. Cutting staff like this at a time of increased work aligns with their mental bandwidth.

I use to work at the Department of Veterans Affairs. More specifically, the Veterans Benefits Administration. What has gone on recently at the VA is horseshit. Many friends & former colleagues were let go for no good reason. Some with 19 years on staff. This will not help veterans.
