Made a small painting yesterday and then had an ocular migraine. This one plays with the same weave as the green router piece I posted recently. Hand drawn and painted gouache on paper.

All that industry wide AI integration has done for me is add another pop up I have to close at least once every time I use an app. So five stars I guess.

Listen, I struggle with my birthday as well. But even the worst ones have not included 4 million people getting together to yell about how bad I am at my job.

Once when I was a teen and W Bush was in office I asked my dad if things always seemed bad or if everything really was getting worse. He tried to soften the blow but I think we both knew. I think about that drive a lot.

I don’t know if this is the app for me. But what the hell, here’s a #sculpture I made for my BFA show in 2009. Still like it. Still want to make #art in this vein.

So far on Bluesky I have learned that “art” means illustration and “fine art” means black and white nude photography. “Sculpture” is a toss up.
