Every single congressional Democrat needs to be out there, right now, insisting that Pete Hegseth resign right now and announcing that he will be held accountable for committing war crimes. If you do not demand accountability here and now, they will only become more emboldened.

I cannot stress enough how bad and myopic this strategy is. It very well might work in the short term, to just run on "not being the other guy", but without specific clear leadership goals and a strong policy slate, we're going to be back in this exact spot within a decade but possibly worse.
