I've been looking at the dice maths of 3d6 down the line in #OSE. To play a half-elf, you need a CON and CHA of 9 and ideally a STR and INT of 13 (if you want the 5% XP bonus). This crops up roughly once in every 27 stat rolls (3.69% of the time). (1/2)
