Throughout history, people have stood up—not with weapons, but with conviction. Conscientious Objectors (COs) are those who, for reasons of conscience—whether moral, ethical, or religious—refuse to participate in war or military service. From religious pacifists in World War I, to anti-draft resisters during Vietnam, to modern-day whistleblowers and activists—COs remind us that refusing to fight is also a form of bravery. 🔹 Some faced prison. 🔹 Some were ridiculed. 🔹 Some paid with their lives. But all stood firm in the belief that violence cannot bring peace. Today, we honor them.
