Asteroid 2023 CX1, which fell over France on February 13, 2023, photographed from the Netherlands. It was only the seventh asteroid to have been discovered before impact. All I had to do was drive to clear skies and a nice foreground close to home to capture it. #space #astrophotography #astronomy

The incredible October 10-11 G4 Aurora. Bright reds and greens could be seen with the naked eye, and this shot wasn't even taken during one of the strongest substorms. Goes to show the Netherlands can be a great for watching the Northern Lights during a solar maximum. #aurora #space #Netherlands

Porcelain fungus is found on the rotting remnants of beech trees, and the massive trunks and branches surrounding these mushrooms are reaching the end of their long lives one by one, making way for the more subtle photogenic details of the forest. #autumn #forest #photography
