I started a new anime on a whim and it has shocked me at how much I’ve enjoyed it. The Duke of Death and His Maid. And there are three seasons?! Anyone else enjoy this one? I’m near the end of season one now.

Vulnerable post here whispering into the void here. I think I’ve given up my dream to become a full time writer. Of course, I’ll still be writing, but it just does not feel like a feasible achievement for me in this lifetime.

I was listening to a podcast the other day and this line resonated with me so much. “You don’t have to attend every argument you’re invited to.” It’s something that stuck with me and as someone who tends to have anger issues, it’s been surprisingly effective at shifting my mindset.

Why is there more pressure on putting out my second poetry collection? 😅 The first one was a hit locally and I even got #1 new release for American poetry and Contemporary poetry on the zon. I did a small marketing push but put zero dollars behind it. It feels a lot more stressful this time. 🫣
