A slow start to April, but I'm not too concerned. I'm ahead of schedule overall and it's only the beginning of the month.

There's something special about NASA's Artemis II mission coverage that has me transfixed. I've been listening in during my downtime since launch. Everything the space crew & ground crew are doing is incredible.

With March closing out, time for a quick 2026 Q1 update! Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the progress. My metrics are almost good enough where I won't feel guilty for playing an older game soon. :D 37% to overall achievements and 2 games away from 50% new games played!

March's quota has been met! 2026's goal is over 1/3 met and I'm not even 1/4 of the way through the year! The progress feels really good!

The first week of March wasn't as fruitful as the first day of March, but I'm definitely appreciating the pace. 28% of the way to total achievement count and 46% of games played released in 2026.

Stumbled across this while reviewing my Steam profile. I'm closing in on a couple of achievement milestone. Two more games before I reach 20 "perfect" games and 21 achievements before I reach 3000! I know I'll hit 3k in March, but I wonder when I'll earn all achievements in two games?

February wrapped up a little under where I wanted to be. While I did spend the last week of February ill, my recovery is looking to be a boon for March! 🤣

February is coming along nicely. Half way through the month and only a bit behind schedule. But This month's game choices are turning out to be some memorable ones.

I've been really inspired to develop software recently. I typically don't write code outside of my day job because I like that separation of interests. But for whatever reason, I've got something I actually want to pursue off the clock, and that's a first for me.

Forgot to post February's first up yesterday. Off to a bit of a slow start compared to January. And some corrections have brought down my percent of newly published games. But I have hope since there is still a lot of 2026 left.

I think this should close out January. 60 achievements on the month, 20% games played were released in 2026, and 1 game has 100% achievements earned. A pretty good start to the 2026 run!

I appreciate game updates. Keeping things fresh and adding new content is always good. It drives me a little bit bonkers when games I achieved 100% are no longer at 100%. Time to revisit A Game About Feeding A Black Hole, I suppose!

Quick update on the 2026 achievement tracking - Smashed through January's quota of achievements. However, I do need to get focusing on 2026 releases.

The manual Steam achievement tracker is up and running! As mentioned on stream, I'm aiming to get my cumulative averages up. At least 50% of games played released in 2026 and at least 421 achievements.

That first week back at work hits a little different after three months off, but I think I'm ready to get back to my Steam achievement shenanigans on stream. I've got some other goals too, so make sure you tune in this week to learn more.

I think I'm in love. As a "congrats on the new job" gift to myself, I picked up a new keyboard that I've been looking at for a while. The UHK80 is my first split keyboard. My keystrokes are a little bit slower as I adjust to the layout, but it is incredibly comfortable.
