Happy #FossilFriday from Cap'n Chuck, the Platecarpus. I found this one in the upper Niobrara back in 2006 (dug up in 2007). This is one of the more common mosasaurs in collections from about 83MYA It looks like a complete mess here in its field jacket but it's really a nearly complete animal! 🧪
