When I was researching the history of Exford and the White Horse Hotel, I was surprised, and delighted, to discover a connection with Rosalind Franklin. I hadn't come across this before, so that was a special moment during the writing of #MemoriesFromTheFuture. #Genealogy #DNA

Today's post office for #PostboxSaturday is a view of Scone. The card was sent in 1907 to Flo in London. Frank, who sent the card, must have felt the weather: "I do not come up here again without my fur-lined overcoat." Despite the cold, he describes it as a lovely place.
