Hope to see you folks over on BlueSky. Easy to sign up, works like this place (but better) for the most part now. Blocking works really well & there are other excellent tools that come in handy if you have a post go viral. GIFs and video & DMs are all things there now too....

Going private as that's the only way going forward to keep blocked users from seeing my posts. If you aren't familiar with how to do it, it's under Settings > Privacy and safety > Audience, media and tagging > Protect your posts

Mostly reading and talking about sports on BlueSky now. (More people are doing so now plus there's now video which gosh, may have been a factor.)

Thinking again about how weird it must be to be a pro athlete. Some days you find out (sometimes through the press) that you now have a new employer. Will do most of your work in a new city. With new coworkers. And will have to wear new outfits. WTF.

I dislike it when sports things make me sad.

That thing where all the teams in the AL Central are going to the postseason except the Twins and White Sox. Cool cool. Love to be in a club with a team that lost 121 games.

I found out about the KAT trade when Kevin texted me a link about it, saying he felt like throwing a Wolves magnet away.

I never did break down and get these socks but if I had they’d be sad socks now.

At least I can cheer on the Lynx, I guess. But seriously— I was the most excited about this Wolves team of any Minnesota sports team in a long long time and KAT was basically the core of that for me.

Maybe someone will fail a physical and the trade will fall through? I don’t know. God. I am not okay.

Devastated that the Wolves traded KAT. I really do not know how I can support the team going forward. I do not understand this at all. I was so excited for the coming season and then this. WTF.

I shouldn’t be surprised there is apparently Fire Rocco nonsense, but I am a bit. I don’t think what is going on with the Twins is on Rocco unless I’m missing something.

Still in mourning for the asshat. Imagining if it had remained available long enough that all of Baseball Twitter purchased asshats.
