It’s so hard to redefine your internal sense of worth when society equates it with success or status. We need to do more to shift the focus, from education to work, towards valuing character over achievement.

We need to promote a mindset where fulfillment isn’t pinned on an end goal but rather on the journey. This can be freeing, as we can and indeed should try to experience satisfaction and meaning in the present, without waiting for some ultimate achievement or possession.
