I suppose I should go to bed and try to get some sleep. I'm sure the fact that my sleep pattern is all out of whack isn't helping the situation with my never-ending bout of shingles. I either sleep too much or too little, and lately I might stay up all night and sleep most of the day.

I think having rheumatoid arthritis and more than likely having had long Covid has done a number on my immune system. It's done just enough damage that I can't seem to get rid of this case of shingles I first developed back in late June/early July. It's now late September.

My shingles rash has flared up AGAIN. This is highly unusual. I might have to go to a doctor. I've already been trying to eat more foods containing vitamin B12 and have begun drinking more juice containing vitamin C. I just can't get rid of this rash.

Yes, in this household, the season for watching spooky movies has begun (not that it ever truly ends). Earlier this evening, Michele and I (re)watched Dan Curtis' DRACULA, starring Jack Palance. Palance's portrayal is quite intimidating. Best thing about this adaptation.

At the end of the Essex Steam Train and Riverboat Lunch Excursion, before boarding the bus for home, Michele and I stopped in the gift shop in the Essex train station. I purchased two fridge magnets as souvenirs and a book on trains through history for the grandkids (it's a cool book).
