JP dubs are SUPER over reacted, including dubs of english series. And that's kind of the point with cartoons, they can't have realistic acting bc characters are able to do things ppl can't and they need to be able to express themselves properly

My unpopular opinion is that english dubs are not overacted enough. We can watch plenty of cartoons with english as the original language and we can see good voice acting that fits a cartoon, in anime, for some reason it's not overacted enough
