Kyle Dubas says he won't be fully satisfied until the Penguins are in position to win it all. Right now, the Hurricanes are the class of the division and he thinks the Penguins aren't close to them. So, that's what they have to push toward.

Kyle Dubas on keeping Crosby, Malkin, Letang together: It's special, what those three have had for so long. But his job is to do what's best for the Pittsburgh Penguins, even if that makes people unhappy. So, he has to evaluate it that way.

Kyle Dubas on potential Crosby or Karlsson extensions: They're not eligible until July 1, so it's not something that's been at the front of their mind. Crosby is in a different category. They'll discuss that as it gets into the summer and the fall. Were happy with both.

Kyle Dubas says he had a great exit interview with Evgeni Malkin. Have kept talking with Malkin and agent J.P. Barry. Doesn't see Malkin as blocking any young talent. Would love to have him back. Will keep talking.

Kyle Dubas: Penguins were successful in some areas and could use work in others. Notes that they still give up too much defensively and that's something that'll need addressed before they get back to being a true contender.

The Pirates have at least six losses this season they had no business losing. It's a 162-game season. You're going to lose. Dealing with your run-of-the-mill 5-1 loss is pretty easy. You can't have a high percentage of your losses come in games you *should* have won, though.

I'm a Penn State fan who has seen plenty of Drew Allar. He has all the tools. Incredibly gifted, can make every throw. Big issue: Disappears in big moments far too often. Mike McCarthy's entire Steelers legacy will be dependent on how well he develops that kid.
