In the depths of Suffolk, the largest patches of grass vetchling I have ever seen. 😊

A few Suffolk #woodlandflowers from today. Oxlip, Goldilocks Buttercup, Early Dog Violet and Suffolk Lungwort.

A reminder as to why to tidy up after yourself. These two fallow, must have had a horrific slow death😢

The geological equivalent of an ornithological 'LBJ', this 'little grey job' glacial erratic w tiny garnets and 1000s of co-aligned sillimanite crystals, was found in a Suffolk field. Originates somewhere up north, perhaps Glen Clova. #geology #Scotland #metamorphism @scottishgeology.bsky.social
