One of the things I’ve enjoyed on bsky - you can curate a feed that keeps you free of the negativity that bleeds in forcibly on other platforms. You can then just CHANGE to another feed where you can see adults, ACTING like adults, debating topics without it devolving in to make calling.

I cannot explain why I felt the need to photograph this but my brain just said “that looks oddly pleasing.” Maybe it’s the fact it was just in the middle of a field or maybe my colorblind brain thinks the colors look nice. 🤷‍♂️ #photography

Good morning BlueSky. It’s nice opening up a social media feed that isn’t interlaced with advertisements and hateful commentary for the third week in a row ❤️

I can comfortably say that the engagement from content on here seems significantly more involved like with early Twitter or Instagram. Additionally, continuation of topics occur across multiple replies and reposts more frequently than I experienced at my peak times elsewhere.

One of the realities I’m watching people have to come to terms with is that those that loved them and raised them do not share their same views for the present and future or having views that put “I before We.” It is not easy to accept this reality that what you now are they may no longer protect.
