I’ve followed Cavalera Conspiracy since Inflikted!! They’ve become one of my favorite metal bands of this generation! This is awesome news and an awesome track!

I gotta stop looking at my phone and headlines so damn much, especially while I’m in my downtime. Not even completely about a lot of stuff sucking, but I’ve let it impact my motivation to either play new stuff, practice harder, let alone prioritize my health overall.

Got double-boostered yesterday and also snuck in practicing Extreme songs again. But today, my body said “Nope.jpg!” and my arms agreed.

Tried some new Monarch shoes. They were too heavy and I was missing shit. Went back to a pair of Brooks I’ve had for a few years. Better choice. Still wish Nike would just make my damn Lunar Fingertraps again.

Taking a couple weeks off from SMX to work on ITG and DDR Extreme songs for Dash Dance. But also have been needing a small break to dodge burnout. Been playing just SMX for 6 months outside of tournaments. Last tournament of the year for me.

I need more setups! I’m missing PIU and IIDX!

I had a vent-out this morning. Everything this week got to me. I need to do better about not getting overwhelmed and paralyzed by fear. I do love life and everyone in mine too much to be letting that happen. I love you all. Please be good to yourselves and each other.

Im no tech wiz, but I spent today alone trying to set my SMX monitor up on a capture card and was probably almost done, but I couldn’t figure out sound, and found out I had to re-select my card as the source to show display AFTER I undid everything. Kinda feel like a dumbass.

Turned on my SMX cab to download the new update, but boiled shrimp dinner got me feeling too bloated to grind. Also had fried shrimp for lunch. Neither choice was influenced by The Shrimps, but I feel like playing it.

Redshift is over, and I had to cut hangout time short because I have to wake up stupid early to fly home. I love my friends so much and I love getting to come to these events to be with them doing awesome things that bring us together.

Easy Clear used, but new Clears nonetheless. I don’t care. I know where my weaknesses are even after 20 years. Failed all the 12s yesterday and ran all 11s today. I only have 20 Level 10s left to play/replay for the site and spreadsheet, and then this entire IIDX PS2 journey may finally be over!

I never finished this quest on the GCN port of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. It eventually stopped liking my disc. 23 years later, I finally, FINALLY finish a goal that I dreaded chasing again! All 180 Emblems acquired!! I never want to do this again!

It just dawned on me. Am I gonna have to get a new eAmuse at this point to put on a JP Konami ID to use Paseli? Or is that a completely different card system and I can use my current eAmuse on JP cabs? Now that I’m talking about Japan, I wanna be ready.

Well, my thoughts about lightening up on events next year and setting a bit aside for a possible Japan getaway is already becoming reality. Due to things out of my control, I’m unable to attend MAGFest or Frosty Faustings. Nothing bad, though.

Went see the new Jurassic World with my family for a Sunday outing. I didn’t hate it, but maybe I’m missing something by not having seen FK or Dominion? But I didn’t really feel like we needed it.

Everything hurt today, so just rested and finished the main story in Warhammer Chaosbane. I enjoyed the play. Dunno how much endgame or other classes I wanna do since I wanna get back into fighting games after MSM2, but it was fun. Don’t know shit about lore, though. 🤣

My only 2 bits of negativity about the storm coming my way from Florida is: 1. I can’t practice SMX or IIDX for MSM next weekend, or put a dent in charts left on Empress CS for my spreadsheet (final disc). 2. I couldn’t stop to pick up any margarita pre-mix omw home to chill.

Shoes weee sticking badly and ankles were hurting on the Monolith run, but new Wild 25 Clear at least!! And got Wild APC #50!! Really gonna need to retire these Fingertraps soon. 8 years is a long time for exercise shoes.
