With all due respect, the NBA narrative that a team can’t carry 2 max contracts is braindead. Knicks are the shining roster-building example right now. They paid their starters $172M last season, on a $154.6M salary cap. 2 *supermax* players would’ve cost $108M.

I don’t see the Celtics trading JB unless it’s star for star, even if JB is disgruntled.
