Rewatching #PrettyLittleLiars for the umpteenth time—which remains delightful but gets more problematic by the second. It’s a period where Aria is fighting with Fitz and Spencer is fighter with Toby, and I cannot help thinking how much better it would have been if they’d just dumped those losers.

Maybe it’s not clear because this is such an old story, but hasn’t Gretchen always intimated that Tamra might have slipped her more than booze at the naked wasted night? I don’t even blame Gretchen if she did, because that was such an ugly move, but this feels like a retcon kind of…. #RHOOC

Martin Short is hilarious and a national treasure, but I realize that years of watching #RuPaul’sDragRace has made me wildly overestimate how funny The Match Game could be.

Someone needs to do a study on parentification using the footage of Gia Giudice on #RHONJ and #NextGenNYC as source material. The way she talks to Teresa in RHONJ is lauded and deemed “mature”, but when she takes the same tone with her peers in NextGenNYC, the effect is very different.

To my own surprise, bingeing #NextGenNYC and I’m not hating it. I do think it’s hilarious at the Jersey Shore when Gia is like, “Leave the kid alone!” about the oldest dude at the table.

One of the problems with Lois Lane as a character in previous movies is that she’s supposed to be super smart, but not smart enough to figure out that a coworker she sees everyday is Superman. Just establishing that she knows gives her character so much more credibility and realism.

I think a lot about how my congressman Dan Goldman is a scion to a massive family fortune and he could probably personally contribute a bunch of money to save PBS and NPR but instead he sends out fundraising emails like "check it out I joined Truth Social and dunked on Trump!!"

I think it’s hilarious that Gretchen is trying to gloat about the other women being wrong when they called her engagement fake when she and Slade are still not married, and it’s very clear they had no intention of marrying. Because then he might have had to pay child support. #RHOC

Fun thing about being in your later forties—suddenly seeing an actor you really loved in your twenties in a new project, and they look like a completely different human, and you think “good lord when did they get old?” But it’s not just them…

So, finally watching #TheValley. If we believe what everyone has said, that Danny slapped someone’s ass in a sexual manner—legally that is sexual assault. Janet is describing that accurately, and everyone else is getting in their feelings because they like him, and don’t want to deal with it.

I understand Janet feeling awkward about being around for engagement celebrations, but that moment would also be a great opportunity to fix things. I get leaving but it’s short-sighted, and a little gutless. #TheValley

As someone who mostly reads horror, I'll never understand the vitriol towards "cozy" books. People say they are escapist, unserious, allowing readers to avoid big issues. And I'm like, girl, WHEN did your dark romance book fix society? Did I BLINK and miss your detective thriller solving crime?

Close to 4th of July, so holding our annual viewing of Jaws, a perfect movie. I need to make a list of perfect movies—there are a few, and they are glorious. Everything down to Mayor Larry’s anchor printed jacket is note perfect in this movie.

I kind of understand the storytelling function of having the other dudes on the cast come over to Jax to talk about what he's feeling, but it just makes them all look terrible. Like, even Jason looks like a schmuck trying to support this awful person. #TheValley

Jesse isn't an unhinged mess like Jax, but I think he's just as evil. The stuff about not wanting Isabella to have the pain of dealing with her Grandmother's situation seemed like an after the fact justification that he made up to cover his own ass. #TheValley

Nia, "Horrible? HORRIBLE?" Yes, getting so trashed that you are groping women without consent is horrible. We can discuss Janet's motives, delivery, pot-stirring, whatever, but if Nia can't own that Danny's actions were very bad, I don't know where to start with her. #TheValley

Jax immediately coming out of rehab, insisting he doesn't have an actual drinking problem, and being so damn happy that Danny is a topic of conversation.... I mean, he's a monster, but this is great tv. #TheValley

This fallout between Jason and Jasmine is actually making me sad. They seem like real friends, and I think there’s a serious misunderstanding about what was said, by whom, and when. #TheValley

I love Janet because she keeps her on foot on the necks of these toxic men on #TheValley. But I do think she and Jason go home from events and strategize about filming and storylines for the next time they film. And that’s probably the aspect that some of the cast react to in these arguments.

Capt. Kerry (who I like very much) was on #WWHL and expressed hurt at being snubbed by Kate Chastain, saying, “I don’t know what I did…”. Buddy. You took her bestie’s job. I mean, if not him, surely it would have been someone else, but c’mon. #BelowDeck

So far I am feeling indifferent to the #VPR alum cameos on #TheValley. Scheana has offered the most by telling us that Jesse’s GF was getting with the Baywatch guy, but other than that, they have neither added nor detracted. It gave me warm fuzzies to see LaLa super pregnant… that’s it.

Brittany talking to Schwartz about mortgage payments like Katie didn’t handle all of that. Poor man is clearly befuddled at the topic. #TheValley

Jesse saying that he called Michelle a lying, cheating whore in a “moment of weakness” but that she is in fact a liar and a cheater made me pause the show I’m laughing so hard. The man is despicable but that is hilarious. #TheValley

Danny just said he felt “shame” for sexually harassing Jasmine and Melissa as if that were an overreaction? Dude, that is the correct emotion there. #TheValley
