Without any second to waste more, the General retrieved her powerful axe, picking it slowly...just a little...as she snarled quietly under her breath. "You'll find cutting my head off won't be easy, I take? Good."

Another narrow miss, although not completely...she managed to get a large cut on her left arm! "Don't be too amazed for long." Only for...the cut to heal, thanks to some nifty regenerative skills there!

And with swiftness and a fair stroke of luck, Artemis bolted out of the way, sliding onto the ground. "Then this'll be easier then I thought."

A small growl. "May the best live to tell this tale."

Upon seeing those eyes glow that bright purple, Artemis instinctively got into a battle stance, even with the small energy she had. It will do...it will do.

"Whenever it happens, I'll be ready. Oh, will I be ready..."

"Hm. Like that's ever going to happen."

"Really, you're STILL wanting to kill me after that? ... Huh, you ARE determined."

"In that case, may I suggest getting a haircut?" ... Oh, she's SMUG now.

"Well, sorry to hear, but now you'll remember not to mess around with me." She grunted back, gathering enough strength to stand back up, even if a little shaky. Still, the General had done enough damage on this poor cat. "Unless you want me to strike down another of your 𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴, 𝘤𝘢𝘵."

Now this wasn't to say Artemis came out not hurt, for the sheer energy to even swipe her arm in that aura was massively much! So once she's free, she leaned against her axe, taking exhausted and strained breaths to gather her strength as she too glared back. "...c-can't say I didn't...warn you."

She was ALMOST about to walk away, had it not been for that aura there. As much as she tried to fight, Artemis just found herself getting closer towards the feline. NOW what was she planning?

"Oh, they weren't up in the slightest! I know you'll try and strike me down. And for when that happens, I'll be ready. And we'll see who emerges alive."

"See? We've come to some form of agreement. Isn't that something?"

"So that's it? It's revenge. Beasts took something from you, and you swore to strike them down, no matter what cost it takes...I can see it now, when you say that."

Part of her is still as flaming as the firey pits below, Artemis knows that well. Yet, part of her can't help but return a tiny smirk from a sense of...- "...you have endless courage. Confidence that doesn't fade. Now that, as smug as it is? I respect that."

"Is that so? Is that REALLY so? Then enlighten me. What makes you think you have a chance, hmm?" She'd scoff, still firmly holding her deadly weapon...just who WAS this person?

Squinting her eyes, which glowed a burning fury if one were to look closely. "Even supposing you try, killing me won't come easy. I'm not one for going down without a fight, and believe me...I fight. And no-one's got me down."

Artemis would fastly turn around, her sharp fangs giving out another growl while smoke emerged from her snout. Yes, she's mad! "What gives you the right to do that to ME?! Do you not know who I am?"

"I don't dare, I DO." One last warning from Artemis, already preparing to strike...she's ALMOST furious! "Let. Go. Or. Else."

A loud snarl is heard, as the grip on her axe tightens. "...you have exactly FIVE SECONDS to let go of me, or else you'll be scorched where you stand."
