Went out to central Oregon to try to watch the Perseids but was disappointed with just how bright the moon was. I did try some astrophotography while I was out there. IN this shot I managed to get a satellite, a possible midge fly (hard to see) and my first meteor! #photography #astrophotography

Breadsticks would follow my fingers since I could feed them from my hand. Sometimes could play this little "game" with them, though they'd peck my finger if it got to close so I stopped that once I realized crows can have some carrion on their beaks. #crow #raven #birds #birb #goofers #goobers

Did you know that crows aren't always black? Due to the iridescent nature of their feathers they can actually appear blue/purple. This usually depends on the time of year as the older their feathers become the more brown they are. This also happens in the shade/morning light. #crow #raven #birds
