The Month of the Qur'ān is nearly upon us. Don't waste this blessed opportunity to connect with the Book of Allāh. قال رسول الله ﷺ: «افضل عبادة أمتي قراءة القرآن». RasūlAllāh ﷺ said: "The best worship of my nation is reciting the Qur'ān" 📚 Shu'ub al-Imān 2/354

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "No one in whose heart is faith the weight of a mustard-seed will enter the Fire, and no one in whose heart is arrogance the weight of a mustard-seed will enter Paradise." 📚 Sahīh Muslim 91

Ma‘ruf al-Karkhi said: “Place your trust in Allāh until He becomes your teacher, your comfort, and the One to whom you present your complaints. For people can neither benefit you nor harm you.” [Shu‘ab al-Imān (2/472)]

Mu’adh ibn Jabal رضي الله عنه reported: RasūlAllāh ﷺ said: وَاتَّقِ دَعْوَةَ الْمَظْلُومِ فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ اللَّهِ حِجَابٌ Beware of the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no veil between it and Allāh. 📚 Sahīh al-Bukhārī 4347

Ibn al Qayyim رحمه اللّٰه said, "Patience and steadfastness are bitter but their outcome is sweeter than honey." [Madārij as Sālikīn 2/1817]

Ibn Mas'ūd رضي الله عنه said: "Whoever wants to know that he loves Allāh, let him present to himself the Qur'ān, if he loves the Qur'ān then he loves Allāh, for verily the Qur'ān is the speech of Allāh." [Tazkiyat al-Nufus, 1/39]

Imām al-Shāfi (رحمه الله) said: "As for Witr prayer, the one who abandons it, is in a worse state than the one who abandons all the voluntary prayers of the night and the day." [Al-Umm (1/87)]

Raise your hands and ask your Lord three things:  🤲🏽 O Allāh, allow us to reach Ramadhān.  🤲🏽 O Allāh, help us in it to do acts of righteousness and excellence.  🤲🏽 O Allāh, accept our deeds in it and free us from the Fire.

Al-Hasan al-Basri (رحمه الله) said: Modesty and nobility of character are two qualities from the qualities of goodness. They are never found in a servant except that Allah raises him by them. 📚 Makārim al-Akhlaq by Ibn Abī al-Dunyā: 43

𝑸𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: In your day there are 1440 minutes, how many of them are for the Qur'ān?

If you want succes in this Dunya?Read the Qur'ān. If you want success in the Ākhirah? Read the Qur'ān. If you want success in the Dunya and the Ākhirah? Read the Qur'ān.

لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا يُؤْخَذُ مِنْ قَوْلِهِ وَيُتْرَكُ مِنْ قَوْلِهِ إِلَّا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ There is no one but that his opinions may be taken or left, except for the Messenger of Allāh. Al-Madkhal ilā al-Sunan al-Kubrá 30

Indeed, in the Messenger of Allāh you have an excellent example for whoever has hope in Allāh and the Last Day, and remembers Allāh often… [Sūrah al-ʾAḥzāb, Verse 21]

The Enemies of Islām Know the Value of Ramadhān - sh. 'Abdur-Razzāq Al-Badr حفظه الله

‏قال ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما: كل ما في القرآن من الأمر بالعبادة فالمراد به التوحيد Ibn 'Abbās رضي الله عنهما stated: "The objective of every command to worship in the Qur'ān is Tawhīd." 📚 Tafsīr al-Baghawi,

The Prophet ﷺ said: “I have been given these last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah from the treasures beneath the Throne. No Nabi has been given the likes of them before me.” 📚 Musnad Aḥmad 23251

‏فالأخلاق الحسنة من الرئيس في الدين، تجذب الناس إلى دين الله، وترغبهم فيه. “Good manners are the head of the religion, it draws people to the religion of Allāh and encourages them.” [تفسير السعدي ١٤٩]

We are approaching Ramadhān - Sh. Sulaymān Ar-Ruhaylī حفظه الله

Ibn Taymiyyah, رحمه الله, said: “There is nothing of more benefit to the heart than Tawhīd and Ikhlās” (مجموعة الفتاوى، ١٠/٦٢٥)

'Umar ibn Al-Khattāb (رضي الله عنه): لا يغرنَّكم من قرأ القرآن، إنَّما هو كلامٌ يُتَكلَّم به، ولكن انظروا إلى من يَعملُ به “Do not be deceived by one who recites the Qur’ān; rather, it is only words being spoken. Instead, look at the one who acts upon it.” 📖Sunan Sa’id ibn Mansur: 3110

قال الإمام أحمد رحمه الله: أصل العلم خشية الله تعالى Imām Ahmad رحمه الله said: "The foundation of knowledge is fear of Allāh The Most High." 📖 Hilyah Tālib Al-'Ilm pg12

هل ما زال قلبك ينبض بالحياة؟ Is your heart still alive?

Even if you become a stranger amongst people, be patient with this - sh. Sālih Al-Fawzān حفظه الله

Seek Refuge with Allāh from Four things

Al-Shatibi رحمه الله: “It is an objective of Salah to escape from the intrigues of Dunya.” 📖 الموافقات 3/143

Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said: “Anyone who claims that he loves Allāh but does not follow the Messenger ﷺ, has thus LIED” ‎[مجموع الفتاوى ٨/٣٦٠]

How Allāh sends Salawāt upon you - Sh. Hassan Bukhāri حفظه الله

Ubaid Ibn 'Omair رحمه الله used to say if winter came: "O people of the Qur'ān, the nights have lengthened for your prayers and the days have shortened for your fasting so take advantage." ‎[المصنف لابن أبي شيبة ٩٨٣٦]

The Prophet ﷺ said: “The virtue of knowledge is MORE beloved to me than the virtue of worship.” ‎ [الآداب للبيهقي ٨١٨ ، صححه الألباني]

Alhamdulillāh 🤲🏽

انظُرِ الَّذِي تُحِبُّ أَنْ يَكُونَ مَعَكَ فِي الآخِرَةِ فَقَدِّمْهُ الْيَوْمَ، وَانْظُرِ الَّذِي تَكْرَهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ مَعَكَ، ثُمَّ فَاتْرُكْهُ الْيَوْمَ “Look at what you would love to have with you in the Hereafter and send it ahead today. And look at what you would hate to have with you, then leave it today.” 📚 Hilyat al-Awliya: (1/525)

أتدرون ما تفسير: لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله؟ يقول: لا يعطي أحد، إلا ما أعطيت؛ ولا يقي أحد، إلا ما وقيت. “Do you know the explanation of: ‘Lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh? It means: noone gives except what You have given, and no one protects except whom You have protected" Ḥilyatul Awliyā 7/140

Strengthen Your Imān with Al-Qur'ān - Sh. 'Abdus-Salām Ash-Shuway'ir حفظه الله

RasūlAllāh ﷺ said: “The deeds are presented on Monday and Thursday. Thus, I love for my deeds to be presented while I am fasting.” 📚 Sunan al-Tirmidhī 747

اللَّهمَّ لا سَهلَ إلَّا ما جَعَلتَه سَهلًا، وأنتَ تَجعَلُ الحَزْنَ إذا شِئتَ سَهلًا

وإذا رأيت متكبراً فاعلم أنه قليل الصلاة أو عديمها ؛ لا يجتمع كبر مع كثرة سجود If you see someone arrogant, then know that he prays little or not at all; for arrogance does not coexist with abundant prostration (Sujūd).

Ibn Taymiyyah (رحمه الله )said: "If you fear Allah, repent from your sins and seek his forgiveness, nobody can overpower you." [Majmū' al-Fatāwa 1/178]

Al-Shāfi’ī رحمه الله said: العلم أحد لذات الدنيا، فإذا عمل به صار للآخرة. “Knowledge is one of the pleasures of this world, but when acted upon, it becomes a provision for the Hereafter.” [اقتضاء العلم العمل 29]
