I have an amazing Dr, she never throws you out, every patient gets the time they need. I’ve been with her for 12 years and the one thing I’d say is I worry for her health, she’s overworked and exhausted.

We just found out after the deal was done she tried to change her mind but it was too late… she visited yesterday morning to tell me she has a 0 tolerance policy towards barking.

Getting to know my new neighbourhood with these two, there’s two flag houses on the street one Toitū Te Tiriti, one rainbow, two small businesses in McMansions, 3 barmy dogs behind fences right next to the park and a butterfly landed on me. All in all not too bad.

Merry Christmas everyone. We just said goodbye to our last guests and I feel light headed and hearted with love and good times. I hope you all have some of that good stuff too cos you’re cool & worth it.

I’ve seen pictures in mags of ppl having lunch on verandahs with amazing views and this year I got to host one. I’ve loved this year in Chch & the last 6mths in Ohinetahi. This time last yr I just wanted to go back to Wgtn and now I’ve got my wish but it’s gonna be harder to leave than I thought.

So I opened the card while mentally apologising, to see if the sender details were there. And the senders turned out to e massive Trump fans and were praying for him to deliver America. I put the card in the bin.

For the last few years, we get a Christmas card for a family that have never lived here & I don’t know in the street. I have ‘not at this addressed’ them. But last year, I decided to try and do better & find the sender…

The birds around here have diarrhoea. The berry filled splatters are intense. We’ve had to scrub them off our house.

Ikeas great and the stuff from there can be made greater still by all the folks on etsy and the like who make great upgrades for it like legs and handles that fit. Its easy to paint and personalise.

The work on our place is almost finished, so I gave Pātea his Christmas present today, his first shirt with a patch I made of him and his builder owner. You have to check out the vintage bunny buttons.

He’s basically living the life we all deserve… the lucky bastard.

I’m not sayin my place is hard to find but there’s a delivery guy forlornly wandering these hills with my lamb curry… he’s called me 3 times…
