Decided to give Nimona a watch this week and like KPDH, it was terrific. The worldbuilding and futuristic-medieval setting was creative, Nimona herself is a riot to watch and the story itself moved me to tears multiple times, especially in the third act. Yeah…this is NOT a good look at all. That’s like a guy killing someone’s family and the police saying ‘oh well, we all mess up. Besides, at least he didn’t kill the entire neighbourhood’ This needs to be taken way more seriously.

WWE really screwed up the heel run, by setting up high expectations and having The Rock involved in the initial turn, despite knowing he wouldn’t show up. They should have done it differently: have Cena go into WrestleMania as the face and cheat to win his 17th out of desperation, turning heel.

How to hold your Tari #metarunner #glitchproductions

At which point you might as well hire a human. I've heard stories of folks working in animation finding us EASIER to work with than AI voices. The technology will get better. But it's still mimicry - nothing authentically human. And that will shine through - whether on the screen or behind it.

There's a reason for this. People who have gotten "super good at making AI Art" need to direct their AI bots, too - get them to a certain pitch or expression. Animation needs SO MUCH more of that to work well... and the AI *still* might not generate exactly what you're looking for.

Based off my experience, the sorts of people who need that sort of narration are already pretty cheap. To them, this is business - not art. This was reflected on the agency's website. No recommendations to use them for things like cartoons, characters, or video games.
