So I slept until almost noon after falling asleep at 3am. I've been getting 6.5 hours a night at best since, like, last YEAR, but I got NINE. What is this magic, is this ALLOWED

I started today with the new knowledge that beds are supposed to make you feel rested, & not just bring you back to a baseline of moderate instead of severe pain. Ordered a mattress replacement with some of the dosh that was supposed to go to a new PC, but my bed has fckin' -mold- on the bottom of it, so I literally can't not do it. My brain thinks it's about to be devoured by a wild animal and I have yet to figure out how to shut it up. Is this adulthood?

As an aside I've really enjoyed watching the upcoming expac bring out old OCs that people have benched for whatever reason. I've seen a huge uptick in 'returning player' or 'old character, reworking for midnight' etc etc etc in people's TRPs & I'm just 'you go, buddy! live again!!' -- it's wholesome

My orb of power ($12 lamp from red bullseye store) is doing such a fine job of dealing AOE damage to the level one pests in my abode (the fleas falling off of the cats while we battle the infestation), and the moat fills with corpses by the day (the trays of soapy water catching them all)

I regret to inform this happened 2 nights in a row now, & "Cover your ears, my lady!" (In regards to some nearby foul language) is a top contender for one of the funniest things ever said to Grandpa. Took the guy a half hour to figure it out and he ninja logged not long after. Incredible experience

genuinely just a reminder as we have a MENA themed content patch in WoW because of the ethereals, sexualized/coquettish uses of veils and coin jewelry/etc are orientalist and it's better for us as artists to steer away from our comfort with that kind of fetishy depiction of MENA-inspired costume

Sha'tor got 6/8 Manaforge down on our first night, which is pretty solid for 2.5hrs of being so totally normal and not at all completely unhinged about this raid. I feel like I've just been given a shot of pure adrenaline, and all the fixations in my brain are hitting critical mass
