We hadn’t seen Toadette for a few days. My husband just found her hopping around in the street, so he moved her back into the courtyard away from traffic. She thanked him by peeing on him, so she had to take a bath when she got home 😂 🐸 🌱

Very happy to report that the toad was in her pot today. We hadn’t seen her for a week, since the horrible hailstorm. We were worried that she had moved on, or died, because her pot was completely full of hailstones. She came home 🥰 🌱 🐸

We’ve been having bad rolling thunderstorms this past week, with some hail. We thought Toad had moved on to safer ground, but he was hiding in his pot! 🌱 🐸

This is the earliest I’ve ever begun the raspberry harvest. They are canes that I got from my grandmother. She said that they always ripened around Frontier week here in Cheyenne, which is the last full week of July, and that has been true until this year. 🌱

Little jumping spider in the petal of our Philadelphus lewisii Cheyenne. This mock orange was named after the High Plains Arboretum outside of Cheyenne, Wyoming. It thrives in our harsh climate and heavy soil, and smells like heaven! 🌱 #highplainsgardening
