The second book of my series is in! The series is about a young woman trying to find her way in a cursed world where people can randomly be turned into monsters. The second book specifically is about her taking the test to become a monster hunter.

Gotta be honest, the desire to play Black Myth Wukong has almost completely petered out by what feels like the midpoint of Chapter 4, and I'm pretty sure there's another to come. By this point, there's a distinct lack of variety in the combat that feels stale. And the bosses are getting sillier.

#AprilWorldbuilders I don't think the Great Beast has much of a sense of touch. Individually, they are a somewhat disposable species with a low survival instinct, so things like pain aren't really necessary. They all end up as food, anyway. They feel enough for basic sensory information. 1/2

Nah Carloman is everyone's friend😂 He will almost always enter a room with that mindset. I think people tend to feel easy around him anyway, once the "oh that's A Wizard" effect wears off, so he gets on with most people. But he doesn't have any actual "friends" as it were, being a perpetual nomad.
