Bankruptcies are surging, up 76% for businesses last month. Ford had an $8 billion plus loss last year, comparable to their Great Recession figures & layoffs figures last month were also at Great Recession levels. I thought the economy was doing so great?

We saw the recent mass layoffs at the Washington Post, owned by Jeff Bezos, which is also laying off tens of thousands of employees at Amazon. Last month, the layoff figures were comparable to figures during the Great Recession. Now, Bari Weiss, CBS, will be laying off 15% of their employees!

The layoffs from last month, which were at levels not seen since the Great Recession, are in part due to companies rushing to integrate AI. If you don't consider AI a threat, I recommend you look up a video that is AI-generated of Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt in a fight scene. #AIJobs #AIEconomy
