This is WHY I try to take payment AFTER the sketch, so nobody feels they have lost anything but time.

Don't be the guy who stays silent about your grievances. You can SOLVE them. I literally deal with HUNDREDS of people over the years. I forget. I have comms I barely remember drawing. Poke me. If I don't respond, poke me two weeks later. If I still don't respond, try two weeks after that.

If you need changes to sketches, SAY SO. If you want to apply discounts, SAY SO. If you want compensation sketches for delays, SAY SO. If you feel you shouldn't have to pay for certain things, SAY SO. Upset you're not on the list, SAY SO.

This is something that I deal with every so often. I assume "no news is GOOD news" when I work. I am slow. I am not well organized. I am forgetful. Most importantly, I CANNOT READ MINDS. If you have beef, take it to the grill, or else you don't get a burger.

CLIENTS This is going to sound weird, but... BE ANGRY if you have to. You can curse or talk shit to me as much as you feel you need to if you are UPSET over a commission. I would rather do that than assume everything is OK in your silence, then have SOMEONE ELSE post your rant to me later.
