In all honesty, your work schedule is going to be YOUR work schedule. Just please, please, PLEASE don't beat yourself up over it, because every fucking thing that is outside of you kind of already has that covered. "FAILURE" is merely a single piece in the puzzle of your success.

-- I try to TAKE WEEKENDS off to give myself time to REST and do something fun. Fun items are PLUS items +Cooked cheesesteaks +Watched anime +Played video game This way, I can look back and see I HAD FUN inbetween work.

-- What I like to do is make an ART CALENDAR. I write "WALK" on weekdays to make sure I exercise, and under that I only make TWO assignments. I KNOW I WILL NOT COMPLETE BOTH. I simply am happy if I DO A LITTLE. At the end of the week I have made PROGRESS on more than ONE thing.--

-- I've actually done this MANY times, and I have imagined it as an EXTRA WEIGHT when it ISN'T EVEN "EXTRA WEIGHT" at all... I just IMAGINE it is. Sometimes you just gotta BE HAPPY with whatever you manage to get done. --

-- It would be better to spend FIVE FAYS messing with the ROUGH SKETCH of ONE PICTURE than it would be to get frustrated that you MISSED doing work on Monday, got angry with yourself that you sketched in frustration and got "bad" art Tuesday, then spent Wed-Fri moping about how you wasted your week.

-- You DON'T need to COMPETE in the online social media Olympic hurdles to try to keep up with the artists that seem to go infinitely faster than you. You will EXHAUST yourself. You just need to FEED yourself steadily, not CRAM the art into your face without even tasting it. --

-- There may be days when outside things are TOO BUSY. You need to tell yourself, "It's okay." Sometimes you need OTHER PEOPLE to talk to, and tell you, "It's okay." YES, you WILL need some DISCIPLINE, but you DON'T NEED to beat the SHIT out of yourself. You DON'T need to BULLY yourself.--

-- It is very hard to be patient and kind with yourself. I find that one of the best things to do is BREAK UP large tasks into smaller tasks that can be accomplished in one day. When you HYPE yourself up, hype yourself up JUST TO DRAW... JUST to START-- and there may be days when you can't do it

-- On top of your TASK and your "failure," you may end up piling OTHER problems to focus upon, such as: 1.) Maybe I'm not cut out for this 2.) Maybe I am broken and need (inset thing here) 3.) Maybe I need to PUSH MYSELF EVEN HARDER 4.) I should punish myself ETC It keeps going. --

-- This takes ONE problem and creates the illusion of the problem MULTIPLYING in your head. So now, in your brain, you have the weight of the TASK, as well as the weight of your "FAILURE," which appears to GROW as more time passes. Sound familiar? It doesn't end there for some... --

-- I have done this, and I see others do it too. Art takes SEVERAL HOURS, and not all of us can whip up a FINISHED, COLORED piece in two hours or less. This is especially hard for those with ADHD and other focus issues. Once you slip, you start focusing on BOTH task and failure. --

One mistake I make as an artist --AND YOU SHOULD WATCH YOURSELF FOR THIS TOO-- is HYPING MYSELF UP so much that I BURN OUT too fast. Ever tell yourself, "I'm gonna draw FIVE FINISHED PICS/ a WHOLE comic page/ animate X number frames today!!" And when you don't you feel ULTRA DEFEATED --🧵

There is NO SITUATION where KILLING INNOCENT PEOPLE is "necessary" in order to kill a handful of terrorists. Especially if YOU PUT THOSE TERRORISTS IN POWER to begin with.

Hey, just to point out one thing. I am not "AGAINST Israel." Just like I am not "AGAINST the US." I AM against THE EVILS COMMITTED BY THE RICH IN EVERY GOVERNMENT THAT EXISTS.

I wish sometimes I had the means to eliminate peoples' stress and anger on the spot. Like I wish I had a spare of something someone just lost. Maybe that is empathy? Or maybe I feel uncomfortable FOR someone else when they are upset? Probably thinking too much on it, but I ponder these things...

And we have misguided leadership.
