Game really surprised me a lot with how fun it ended up being. I got really addicted getting many of the different endings (there's like 50 of them). And it was really really satisfying getting better at a the raising elements each run

One of my favorite aspects of Atelier Firis compared to other games is how much more personal side quests are. This is due to side quests being taken by NPCs instead of a bulletin board like in other entries. Nothing wrong with that, but Firis's approach makes me care a lot

I think one of my favorite aspects of the Atelier Arland subseries is seeing how each generation of alchemists teach each other, and how each predecessor fosters the next generation. I especially love how each teaching style also helped inform the development of each protagonist

So my enthusiasm to play through Class of Heroes 1 further is already being tested cuz of a pretty noticeable flaw. The game dungeon layouts are very, very samey. So the game has randomized layouts (kinda) and the floor layout you start on is randomized. Which is, fine

I think what makes me love Atelier Totoris time limit is how open ended your approach can be. Totori does have a more ambiguous approach compared to others, yes. But I think what saves it is the fact almost anything you do contributes to adventurer points needed to progress

Atelier Firis was super good, man. Flawed as hell, but just as endearing. Super fun game that I'll be thinking about for awhile Firis is cute today, too

I got the "true ending" for the 2nd half, so I think I'll call the Firis run here. I originally was tempted to skip this due to my aversion to open world game design. I'm glad I gave this one an honest shot cuz it become my 2nd favorite in the series, and a new favorite overall

Although the comedy hasn't aged gracefully 100%, sometimes when I'm playing through the Mysterious games, I kinda think to myself "I miss Arlands humor and absurdity" sometimes Not that I mind Mysterious tone wise. Its just I adore the Arland subseries so much. Ahaha

One thing about Atelier Firis I find refreshing is how supportive Firis's parents are. After the initial wall between them at the beginning, I really enjoy that Firis's parents are active and truly care for her. They also have entertaining interactions with her

Despite the problems regarding "forced" busywork, I really dig Atelier Firis's synthesis system. Catalysts are a great addition to the series, and adds a ton of customization into item crafting. I know this was in Sophie 2, but still That said, proficiency can roll down a cliff

Atelier Firis is doing a great job of making me care more for some of the returning characters from Sophie 1, and these two is one example Didn't care for em in Sophie 1 despite interesting lore, but came around to em here thanks to their friendship with Firis and storyline

Illmeira and Firis's dynamic reminds me a lot of Totori and Mimis dynamic. Which is a huge compliment, by the way. I like how this dynamic really emphasizes the mutual trust and respect between rival alchemists. It's one of my favorite dynamics in the game, tbh

Ngl, I'm glad Drossel was a main character in this game. Their presence turned Fritz into an overall more interesting character for me due to the endearing father-daughter dynamic, and Drossel is definitely one of my favorites coming from this game

There's something extremely heartwarming about Firis not only being one of three few people to take Oskars ability to hear plant voices seriously, but actively help him help a plant "friend"
