I wish some folks didn't say Digimon Time Stranger is good purely because "It's better than Pokemon". Not because I don't want them criticizing Pokemon (far from it actually), but because this mindset does a disservice to explaining why Time Stranger is so great on its own merits

Finished Saes friendship route! That was pretty neat. I don't have a ton to say about it, though I did like Sae's arc of wanting to improve herself and I thought it was handled quite well. Sae's a cute character overall. All in all, a pretty neat route. Onto Saes love route!

Idk how I forgot Ape Escape 3, but that's also very high up there for me

I'm enjoying this route so far, but unironically, I think my favorite part of it right now is getting much more Miya screentime than usual

Although I haven't finished Amagami yet, I'm confident in saying its not only a new favorite, its easily one of my favorite games that I've played this year, with DMC3 and Atelier Totori being the games fighting for that top spot this year for me

To get a bit personal, I oddly related to Ayatsuji to a degree due to some events in my past. I won't say what that is, but I thought it was interesting

Ayatsuji love route finished! That was really good! Very fun route that also was a bit more of a downer than I was expecting in places. And I really did like the the overall character development here. All in all, great route.

Ayatsuji-san is a wonderful person with nothing to hide

Harukas love route finished! Another great route. I did like how it focused on just how popular Haruka is, and I did appreciate this route sorta tying back to the prologue in some way, that was cool. And Haruka's really endearing (also, Hibiki's best wingman). All in all, great

Holy fuck, does it feel good to get back into the groove with a jrpg Idk what game I'll tackle next now that I'm done with Class of Heroes 3. I think once I get back home later, I'll just solely focus on Amagami for now till I think of something

To the point, huh Class of Heroes 3 finished! Overall, I had a blast playing this! Definitely a new favorite within DRPGs. Not perfect, or for everyone as its got issues and quirks. But I can see why Japan called this a "DRPG kamige", and I'm glad the West finally got to play it

I think I'm approaching the end of Class of Heroes 3. I will say, the final stretch of the game did do a decent bit in upping my estimation of the game. Especially with the fun challenge and difficulty this part of the game presents

Finished Harukas friendship route! Much like Kaorus friendship route, this one was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed her banter with Tachibana, and it was fun seeing how their relationship developed. Also, side note, but man Hibiki should've had her own route...

I do intend to dive into more Saga games one day, but man, I'm still coming to terms with the fact that none of the other Saga games are nearly as cool conceptually as Romancing Saga 2 imo But despite that... there's definitely other entries that interest me a bit

Being stuck in the same dungeon for hours hearing the same music over and over, fighting countless enemies while figuring out where I'm supposed to go does a ton to powerup my units I did greatly enjoy this dungeon, though. This is the type of sadistic BS I love in DPRG. Lmao

Gotta admit, not a whole lot interested me in this direct besides maybe DQVII remake, but Starforce Legacy Collection made up for it all. This series is so important to me, so the fact that more folks will be able to play it fills me with so much joy
