Congratulations USA. You’re about to inaugurate a president who doesn’t just oppose democracy but has demonstrably and illegally fought against it. Unfortunately the whole world will reap what you have sown.

I wish all the locals who get “politically agitated” about gritters, potholes and tourists could apply that sense of injustice to the gaping divides between rich and poor.
