This is the best way to play Fallout 3. It won't fix the bad writing or anything like that but the things that Fallout 3 does well, namely the setting and the atmosphere, all that gets enhanced with New Vegas' superior mechanics. An absolute must play experience.

GOLDEN AXE DooM! I actually did this like awhile ago but I got it so that at the end of every level(barring the 4 major boss fights) that switches to a nighttime camp/rest where you get ambushed by the elf thieves like in the SEGA games
