Last week, #Fight4HER Organizer Kyle partnered with the Handmaids of Las Vegas for a community discussion on the connection between #reprohealth access and economic wellbeing. We talked about how reproductive freedom impacts workers, communities, and families, and how we can uplift each other.

1/ Last year, the Trump-Vance administration shut down USAID, a critical federal agency. Right now, we are seeing a rise in Ebola cases in Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The Elon Musk driven shutdown of USAID has already had catastrophic consequences around the world. Now, the administration wants to steal some of the remaining funding for health to pay the costs of it. Malevolence and incompetence are the hallmarks of this entire administration.

Today, I stood with 250+ lawmakers in defense of a woman’s right to make her own health care choices. No court or judge should prevent women from accessing mifepristone. I urge SCOTUS to do the right thing and keep this safe, effective health care accessible.

Women should be able to make private, personal decisions with their family and doctor. This case is yet another attempt to restrict women’s access to reproductive health care. I’ve joined 250+ of my colleagues in an amicus brief to the Supreme Court urging them to protect access to mifepristone.

The Trump administration just announced an expansion of the heinous Global Gag Rule in their crusade to dismantle decades of progress across the world in improving access to reproductive health and rights.

Today marks the 53rd anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the landmark decision that protected the right to abortion in the US. Since the US Supreme Court overturned this ruling in 2022, many states have passed outrageous abortion restrictions and outright bans.
