Hey as a Canuck fan I seriously seriously wish it worked out with the Canucks current core of: Hughes Pettersson Demko Boeser Miller But they're just not doing it. The only one who has any heart left is Hughes. The rest just can't get it done. It's time for some significant changes to this core.

Canucks could've probably be in the same spot this season had they just not signed Desharnais, Heinen, and Forbort and elected to keep Zadorov. At least the lockerroom would be far more entertaining with big Zaddy around.

Sorry but you cannot go giving out excuses that this was a 2nd game in a back to back when you have the schedule the Canucks have. They have more nights off than they do have games. And some games you can't even tell if they forgot it was a game or a night off.

Canucks need 2 top four defensemen. The defence is straight trash. Soucy and myers are 3rd pairing d-men parading as the 2nd pair because management did not go and find better options. When you get below average goaltending, this is your night. Down 5-2.

Personally I do not feel Willander was anywhere close to being ready especially for this season. He's getting more reps and playing much better hockey at the NCAA level this season than he was last season. That's a sign of growth and one that didn't need him in the AHL.
