It depends on if there's separate F/F scences. If there is, then they have sapphic elements to them and still fall within sapphire literature, just on the edges of the genre. It depends as always, how it's done.

It's absolutely grand for us not to agree on the limits of genre definition, use of tropes, #writing related themes, approaches and styles. We don't have to agree on everything. There's room for authors to disagree politely. In other words don't be a dick. #Authors need to support each other.

Especially when the retail price of books has been stagnant for over 20 years. It's comparatively cheap to read a book and find out it's not for you, but it's even cheaper still to get it from your library and find out it's not for you. All the fun of gambling, but it's free!

Can I share an ambition with you all? Trans lit is what sparked my love for reading and writing again to a level I hadn't enjoyed for years. It was a beautiful part of my transition. My ambition? That we grow. We break new ground. We leave a mark. That we find the magic in the telling.

Fiction is meant to stretch us as well as give us comfort. All you've lost if you read a book you don't like is the cost of the novel itself (unless you hire it from the library) and some time. But what you might gain is a new genre or author who blows you away. Life is nothing without some risks

In my current #WIP #TamLin there is a justice system but it reflects the feudal system that it maintains and is benevolent only if you are part of the aristocracy. Even the aristocracy is bound by strict rules of etiquette and morality. To break those rules is to be ruined financially and socially.
