I’m an Oyeyemi evangelist because of her ability to play with form, but this newest book goes to new heights with its polyphonic (yet at the same time monophonic) voice. My department has an external review this year and writing these documents is so time consuming bc they’re such weird genres. But it is nice to see how the department’s curriculum has changed in the last few years and how the faculty have worked together to shape it into one that I think is great.
