Lunch at the waff den, pan seared chimken with tagliatelle and a white wine mushroom sauce

Then back home and back to cooking, my first attempt at a beef Wellington came out pretty well I think.

On the plus side got a cool new umbrella and the rain kept the wait times down nicely. Riding roller-coasters in the rain is a different experience.

Went to Disneyland on leave for their 70th Anniversary, had a great trip dispite the 3 days of rain.

I made seared salmon with spiced rice and asparagus. It was tasty.

Visited the Acropolis museum today, great stuff about ancient Athens and the history of the Acropolis itself. The bronze tools date from 6th century BC ish, the model is the layout of Athens in the 2nd century AD under Rome, and the ruins over which the museum is built date from 3rd century BC

Skiing in Italy with some great scenery, however most of the time on mountain you can't see any of it

Went to the Butterfly garden, so pretty and peaceful
