Watching The Wild Robot again while I paint because my friend said the robot sounds like me. It’s kinda accurate. Cute movie, too.

It’s mad stupid how much dopamine I get from making art. The whole process is my favorite part, even the ending. Right now, I’m setting up to paint. I decided to open the curtains in my bedroom because that natural light is beautiful. Happy, happy.

I mostly take my meds because the voices in my head lead me to make bad choices. Over the years I’ve seen the prescriptions change, lower, and increase in order for my dysfunction to cease so I become less of a beast and have the ability to cope with my actions at least… I’m trying.

I don’t watch too many reality shows, but Love After Lockup got me HOOKED!

Got some lighter blue yarn to learn to crochet on, and two other pretty ones for later. I dedicated a reusable bag for crochet. I’m serious, guys.

Was talking to my mom about how a lot of people in our lives have died in January. I told her the month was named after Janus, the god of beginnings, endings, transitions, doorways… that’s why lots of things begin and end during this month.

It’s funny how cats smell so clean and fresh when they clean themselves with stinky fish breath.

I’ve always loved Tina Belcher from Bob’s Burgers, but I think it’s cool my brother and his gf think I’m Gene. He’s probably the funniest and weirdest of the bunch.

Watching Howl’s Moving Castle for the first time. It’s beautiful.

We didn’t end up taking the Metrolink to LA today because of a dangerous wind storm a-brewing and if the hills catch fire, we don’t wanna be stuck on a train. 100mph winds, ftw!

I should be going to sleep because we’re getting on the Metrolink to DTLA around 9am to wander the streets of Little Tokyo. I’m bringing my 35mm camera.

I ended up adulting instead of learning crochet by cleaning up my side of the bed. Needs a bit more work, but it looks a ton better. Hooray!!

My only surviving grandparent is on hospice care right now. I was her first of many grandkids. Sad is not strong enough of a word for what I am feeling right now.

That silence after finishing listening to an album or a mix is very peaceful and hard for me to to describe but it’s a thing.
