What we *really* need AI for– ✨ Back in the day ✨, you had to define or draw masks etc. yourself. Automatic detection sometimes worked, but not always. 👵 Now, I either click "Subject", which works 80% of the time, or I draw the mask with the precision of a three year old and it just creates it.

TIL about PEST's `wip()` method - runs tests while marking them as WIP, unlike `todo()` which skips entirely. Perfect for tests that are already relevant but need extending. While the new features unveiled yesterday are amazing, PEST always makes me happy with the little things 🥰

Btw, this works with other hooks too! I added a custom sound to the Notification hook so I can react faster when Claude asks something or needs permission to run code. Updated the gist if you’re curious. (We don’t do YOLO mode here.)

Sometimes Claude Code needs a few minutes to complete a task, so I included a tiny script for the `Stop` hook to play a sound when it's done. Works like a charm. gist.github.com/mechelon/756...
