Dropping the needle on the mighty #LedZeppelin! "Houses of the Holy" features three of my favourite Zeppelin tracks ever in "No Quarter", "Over the Hills and Far Away" and "The Rain Song". Some will say their fourth effort is their best but the two that followed are just as great in my opinion.

Keeping with the #1980AlbumChallenge. Playing a much revered band in Canada, #Offenbach who primarily sang in French as a classic rock/blues act. They did release a few English efforts including this one that features the Ray Charles classic "Georgia on My Mind".

Kicking off the Monday with another #1980AlbumChallenge album. The #GratefulDead with "Go To Heaven". Perhaps not their finest effort as it was their first without Keith and Donna Godchaux on keys and vocals. Features "Alabama Getaway" which would be a live staple of theirs for the next decade.

Another album I am spinning from the #1980AlbumChallenge. My first female crush long before Chrissie Hynde and Debbie Harrybest remembered as Leather Tuscadero from "Happy Days". This is "Rock Hard" by glam rocker #SuziQuatro .

What to make of this?

Yet another great album for the #1980AlbumChallenge! "The Game" by arena rockers #Queen gave us "Another One Bites The Dust", "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and"Save Me". For me though, the funky "Dragon Attack" will always be my favourite deep cut by the band.

Bought this album on the advice of a record clerk who compared them to the Jam. #TheMotors were more like Be-Bop Deluxe and the Knack than the mod / punk scene out of London. A feel=good album if there was ever one. Who else has "Approved by the Motors" on vinyl?

#JoyDivision released quite a few non-album singles from 1978 thru to 1980 as well as a few extended plays. They're worth a pretty penny if you kept them like I did. "Transmission" is just one of the greatest tracks ever in my opinion. #RecordCollecting #VinylCollecting

TGIF! Waking up with yet another album from the #1980AlbumChallenge. This time, it's "Departure" by #Journey. It would be the last album with Gregg Rolie in the band. IMO, this is their greatest effort on the strength of its deep cuts, edge and Neal Schon's guitar work.

Keeping with the #1980AlbumChallenge theme. Playing "Greatest Hits/Live" by #Heart. First album is nine of their biggest hits to date and the second album is a few new songs and some live cuts including a cover of Led Zeppelin's "Rock and Roll" in honour of John Bonham.

Still waiting for warmer weather!
