Playing a game that has a Tales of style Skit system, but the party members aren't developed enough and the locations you travel to aren't distinctive enough for them to bounce off of in interesting ways.

Was wondering why Japanese YT doesn't have as much output "discussing" and "analyzing" games the way we do. TJPW consistently getting major artists to draw key art for their PPVs is the gift that keeps giving.

Oh hey, it's the place I went to and watched a full day of rakugo performances at. Standing in line, when they opened up one of the girls doing preparation work came up to me and asked if I knew what I was standing in line for in Japanese.

Watched a video about a guy attempting the carnivore diet for a month and followed it up with a video about a guy attempting a vegan diet for a month. They complimented each other nicely.

The more I think about Re;Zero, the more I really end up respecting what is going on there. Like, it's using so many things other works use as shortcuts without them being utilized that way at all, all in the service of thematic meaningful storytelling.
