Guardian's crossword #29988 1ac) "Footballer crossing road to get pound (6)" Def is: "Pound". Footballer is PELE, with ST (for "road") hence: PE ST LE For PESLTE (pound).

After reminiscing a bit after Adams post, I just had to do it. Last time I installed FVWM on Debian, Debian was still in its pre-version 1 days. Nothing special, just default config on a VM. May have to load it up on one of my test systems and have some fun. Trixie + FVWM3

I’m currently looking at the #guardian #prize #crossword 29542, by Jack. I’m probably two-thirds in. Rather tricky! No spoilers as there’s a week to go until next Saturday, when 225 will blog about it. But some of the surfaces of the clues are simply brilliant. Take it time with it. 🙂
