The story is less mystery & more found family. Slow paced. Protagonist is described by another character: “Vera is quite possibly the most vexing person he has ever met.” And SHE IS. 4⭐️ Colin certainly has a lot of stories! Slow to start but sped up as it went. The chapter about 9/11 is especially poignant. I loved the inside scoop about SNL. The Wedding People: 5⭐️ This story was pleasantly and refreshingly honest. I didn’t know where it was meandering, but I was along for the ride. I cared about the characters, and I related so much to the protagonist. Life is messy but sometimes in a good way. CW: dark humor, death, suicidal thoughts
