After playing a few hours more, I’m sold. It’s a very fun game. I wish it were bigger with more varied environments, but it might be one of the most fun Pokémon games so far.

Pokémon Legends Z-A is fine I guess, I don’t think it’s nearly as good as Arceus. Honestly, I played for an hour or two and then put it down and went back to playing Digimon Story Time Stranger, which I’m enjoying way more.

I've always said I don't like Digimon games outside of the World-style/v-pet like games. There is nothing in Digimon Story: Time Stranger even remotely similar to anything in any World-style game whatsoever. So I'm surprised to say: Time Stranger is GREAT! Go play it.

I'd like to share some more about the world of Spire of Arkodea. It's set in a world parallel to our own, usually out of reach to humans. The creatures which live there are called Monoforms. You may have seen in an earlier video but you pick your partner Monoform from these 3:

A bunch of people linked me to the GameBoy Lego today. I'm a bit conflicted on whether to buy it. It looks awesome, and it's no secret I love GameBoy stuff, but... I actually don't enjoy LEGO! I don't have the patience or attention span so I usually get frustrated and give up.

Ray is rad and it's already been a huge pleasure to add a little bit of input to this very cool thing he is doing! There will be a lot more to show and talk about soon.

In terms of design, do you think this is too dark for the intro cutscene? Could it be better to have the drive start out earlier and it goes to night over the course of the trip? For context, the player is moving from the city to a small town/village, and gets isekai'd en route.

The PS1 style monster-raising RPG I'm working on opens with the player playing a gameboy-like device in the back of a car, You get to play his game and pick your starter monster in this mode (All graphics are work in progress/placeholder)

Last year I closed commissions because they were taking too long for what I charged for them. I've opened commissions again as of today, but they're a bit more expensive which will hopefully result in a slower queue where I can take more care with each commission and I don't need to feel stressed!

So I finally bought Mario Kart for Switch, 7 and a half years late.

Hello, Penmon was a fanmade Digimon that was added to the game, Watanabe's art came after that. But the products were all being made in parallel, so art not being consistent was, and still is, quite common in Digimon, so that could also be a reason for why they were different.

Haven't really thought about Digimon in a while, but for some reason I felt inspired to make a pixel-art version of the original Digimon World design of Penmon/Penguinmon. At first I thought it would be a simple recolor, but it turned out basically every part was very different.

Looks like that Sky Follower Bridge browser add-on worked pretty well!

I'm a little late to the party but I guess I'm here properly now.
